After an action-packed premiere of season 4, "Arrow" returns on The CW with another intense episode this Wednesday, 14 October. The sequel will not just feature "Star Trek" actress Jeri Ryan as an old family friend of the Queens but also Canadian actor Alexander Calvert as "Batman" villain Lonnie Machin aka Anarky.
While Ryan's character enters the supernatural series with a new challenge for the Queen siblings, Calvert's character will be introduced as a "deranged freelancing criminal who is willing to do whatever it takes to impress a potential employer" in episode 2, titled "The Candidate", according to Comic Book Resources.
As both the characters bring new problems for the vigilantes of the Star city, the team will have to prioritise their responsibilities and find a way out to save the city from the new villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).
The followers of the supernatural series can also expect to get more details on the demise of a major character shown towards the end of the first episode through a flash-forward sequence.
