Celebrations around Arpita Khan's wedding have begun earlier than expected. While the bride usually enters her in-laws' place post the wedding, Arpita is said to have formally visited her fiance's home before the nuptials, and was welcomed by the family as per traditions.
On the arrival, Arpita with her husband-to-be Ayush Sharma were welcomed with a traditional 'aarthi' and tilak by a family member. It is similar to 'Gruha Pravesh', say observers.
Some of the pictures of the visit are doing the rounds on the internet, in which the bride to be looks excited about the welcome. The family is said to have given her a traditional welcome to make it memorable for her.
In the mean time, Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma are getting ready for the pre-wedding rituals. The bride will have her haldi on Sunday at her residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple will tie the knot at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on 18 November and the Mehendi and Sangeet will be performed in the royal palace.
