The "Karan Arjun" of Bollywood patched up on Arpita's sangeet, when Shah Rukh gave a surprise by attending. Salman and Shah Rukh hugged and gave their blessing to Arpita.
Both Salman and Shah Rukh's fans rejoiced after their patch-up. After the whole hugging incident, there were speculations that Shah Rukh will attend the wedding ceremony of Arpita in Hyderabad.
But the "Happy New Year" actor and his family missed the wedding ceremony, disappointing many fans.
However, it is said that SRK attended the sangeet ceremony at Khan's residence, Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, because he wasn't coming to Arpita's wedding.
According to BollywoodLife.com, SRK decided to wish the bride and her family for the wedding a day in advance.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh gifted Arpita exclusive collections of handbags from top international brands. Shah Rukh considers Arpita as his own sister and knows very well that she loves designer bags.
"Everyone was extremely touched by SRK's gesture. It didn't feel like he and Salman had fallen apart before. There was a lot of warmth between the two and they were laughing and joking like the old times. Arpita has also been close to SRK and Gauri and she was heard telling him that he has to make it to the wedding at Hyderabad," BollywoodLife.com quoted a source as saying.
