Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's mushy chemistry in "2 States" has led to the alleged link-up reports as the stars are seen giving inputs to their on-screen lip lock screen every now and then.
Kapoor recently referred the Bhatt as a pro kisser and even rated her over his first co-star Parineeti Chopra.
"I really like kissing Alia. She is the best kisser. I don't look at it as a comparison. Everyone is different. It would be unfair to compare, but yeah, she is very good," Kapoor told The Times of India on being asked who is the better kisser between Parineeti Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
The actor's reply was further backed by Bhatt who went on to explain, "When he kissed Parineeti, he was Parma and she was Zoya (of "Ishaqzaade"). At that time he didn't like her. He kissed her to trap her. When he kisses me (in "2 States"), he genuinely loves me. So, that is why it is a better kiss."
Further reacting to the link up question, the 28-year-old actor coolly denied the alleged romantic status.
"It comes with the territory...This territory...this proximity...this fact that I like kissing Alia and she likes getting kissed by me. The territory is part and parcel of the profession. I think we should just confess to create confusion. But we are not a couple."
Even though the actor opted for a safe answer, the couple's cozy photos at film promotions have only fanned the link-up rumours. On Sunday, the "Highway" actress posted a selfie with his co-star on Twitter.
