While, reports of Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha dating each other have been doing the rounds for quite some time now, the recent news of the duo holidaying in Istanbul added fuel to fire.
However, the actor was quick enough to deny the affair with his "Tevar" co-star Sinha. "No, we are not dating," Arjun told Hindustan Times.
Although, Arjun and Sinha have been friends since childhood, the duo bonded well during the shoot of their first film together "Tevar".
Produced by Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, "Tevar" is an action-romantic film and a remake of Telugu film "Okkadu" (2003). Directed by Amit Sharma, the flick is slated to release by the end of this year.
A source close to the "Finding Fanny" actor told the daily: "They're childhood friends and went to the same school. They live down the road from each other and have been friends for pretty much all their lives. After doing a film together recently, they naturally became better friends."
The news of the duo dating each other surfaced after they were frequently spotted partying and going out for movie dates together.
Confirming Arjun-Sinha's trip to Istanbul, the source added: "They have plenty of common friends and it's true that they were all together for a long holiday in Istanbul. But that does not mean that they're in a relationship. Besides, their families know each other too, so it's not unbelievable that the two share a very good equation with each other."
This is not the first time that the "Gunday" actor has been linked to a Bollywood hottie. Arjun was also rumoured to be in a relationship with his "2 States" co-star Alia Bhatt.
On the other hand, the "Dabangg" actress was linked to Shahid Kapoor after they worked together in Prabhu Deva's "R.. Rajkumar".
