Evelyn Sharma has a lot on her plate in 2015, with "Kuch Kuch Locha Hai" and "Ishqedarriyaan" set for release later this year. During such hectic time, compliments can be a great motivator, especially from those we admire. Sharma got her share of praise from none other than the pop diva Ariana Grande.
In 2014, Sharma was featured in Brooklyn Shanti's album "Bedstuyle", in which she sang the track, "Something Beautiful".
"Problem" singer Grande was pictured holding the CD of the album, which did not go unnoticed by Sharma. She says that being accepted in the music scene of the West is as overwhelming as being welcomed into Bollywood. She thanked Grande for her support for the album.
"I absolutely adore Ariana. Her songs are on repeat on my play-list. Seeing her holding up our music, I was on top of the world. Coming from a small town in Germany, it is amazing to find appreciation in Bollywood and now even overseas. Hearing from people that the lyrics of Something Beautiful have helped them through a rough patch is something really beautiful. I am excited to release my next song with Brooklyn this year," said Sharma.
