An Arabic version of HBO series Game of Thrones is all set to air on Abu Dhabi TV this Ramadan. The Syrian show is titled Orchidea, and the plot summary has a striking resemblance to HBO's hit series.
Orchidea is directed by Syrian actor-director Hatem Ali and it is expected to premiere on May 27. The show was shot in different parts of Romania and France.

Game of Thrones, in the meantime, is gearing up for its Season 7 premiere. The penultimate season will comprise of seven episodes and if spoilers doing the rounds are true, then expect an action-packed adventure.
For years now, ardent fans of the show as well as George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series of books- the source material for the HBO show, have been looking for clues to find out how the show will end, and according to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau the ending is already out there. Coster-Waldau plays Jaime Lannister on Game of Thrones.
"If you go online you can definitely read every plot point that's going to happen," he told The Observer. "You can find the ending of Game of Thrones on the internet. It's there. But you wouldn't know. Of course, nobody really wants to know."
"For years there was the whole thing with 'book readers' who knew what was going to happen," he said. "But it is more intense now, because nobody knows. There has been a couple times where I've actually, by accident, said something I shouldn't have. But because nobody knows, they don't necessarily pick up on it."
