Two times Oscar winner AR Rahman has once again made it to the list of 114 probables in the best original score category in the Oscar 2015 nomination list.
The Indian music maestro, who was awarded with the prestigious award twice before, for the film "Slumdog Millionaire" and nominated for "127 Hours", has been listed in the list for the third time for the films "The Hundred-Foot Journey", "Million Dollar Arm" and Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiiyaan".
Meanwhile, Bollywood film "Jal", the directorial debut of Girish Malik, based on water scarcity, has also been shortlisted among the 100 films in the best picture category nomination. Sonu Nigam and Bickram Ghosh for their rustic compositions for the drama film, have also found a place in the best original score nomination list.
Earlier, it was reported that Geetu Mohandas' directorial venture "Liar's Dice", starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Geetanjali Thapa in the main roles, has been selected as India's entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category for the 87th Academy Awards. However, some reports suggest that the film is no more part of the final nomination list, according to IBN Live.
