AR Murugadoss, who is getting ready for the release of his next Hindi film "Akira," is constantly asked about his plans to join hands again with Ajith. Once again, the filmmaker has said that he is willing to join hands with Thala with whom he delivered a hit film "Dheena."
In an interview to a leading magazine, AR Murugadoss said that the script is ready and he is awaiting Ajith's call. He went on to say that the script is meant for him and only the actor can do it.
AR Murugadoss made his directorial debut with Ajith's "Dheena" way back in 2001. The movie had redefined the actor's image as an action hero and he got the moniker "Thala" from this flick.
Moving on to Vijay, with whom AR Murugadoss had worked in blockbusters like "Kaththi" and "Thuppakki," the filmmaker says that Ilayathalapathy has fans of all age groups and children and woman treat him like their brother, which is a big advantage for the "Nanban" star.
Responding to a query about which is his favourite film between "Thuppakki" and "Kaththi," AR Murugadoss said that he rates the latter higher than the former as the subject and dialogues of "Kaththi" demanded a lot of research.
AR Murugadoss is presently directing Mahesh Babu's next film, which is presently referred to as "Mahesh 23." "He is a Prince and a very dedicated actor, who closely observes what we say," the director told the magazine about the Telugu superstar.
"Mahesh 23" has Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead role. The film unit has already completed its first schedule in Hyderabad.
The upcoming movie, which is being jointly bankrolled by NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu, is expected to hit the screens in April next year.
