Has the day come for AR Murugadoss and Ajith to team up again? The Jodi that delivered "Dheena" way back in 2001 seems to be ready for a flick.
Rumour mills are abuzz with news that AR Murugadoss and Ajith Kumar are joining hands once again and the director recently said in an interview that he was willing to direct the actor and the approval should come from the other side.
AR Murugadoss met Ajith Kumar recently and narrated a storyline, after which the actor was impressed and instantly gave his consent to the project, which will be the actor's 57th movie. While social media has been abuzz with the news of the deal, PRO Riaz K Ahmed hinted at the forthcoming film on his Twitter account.
He wrote, "#ARMurugadoss is ready for next with #thala. Recently story narration done & got approved by #thala."
Though the tweet cannot be considered a formal announcement, it cannot be ignored either.
The director had made his debut with "Dheena". It was a dream debut for him as the film went on to become a blockbuster. Even for Ajith, it was special as he earned the pet name 'Thala' from this flick.
AR Murugadoss is likely to take up the movie once he completes his next Hindi movie starring Sonakshi Sinha. It is said to be a remake of Tamil movie "Mouna Guru".
On the other hand, Ajith is busy with "Yennai Arindhaal" directed by Gautham Menon. The movie is likely to be wrapped this month. He will move on to a movie directed by Siva of "Veeram" fame later. It is only after the completion of these movies, he can allot dates for AR Murugadoss's flick.
As per our guess, the Ajith-AR Murugadoss movie might kick-start in the second half of 2015.
