AR Murugadoss, who had earlier teamed up with Ajith Kumar in "Dheena," has always wanted to work with the actor again. While they had not collaborated for various reasons, it now appears that a project is on the cards.
In an interview with Indiaglitz, AR Murugadoss spilled the beans on working with Ajith. He says that after every project the filmmaker starts penning scripts keeping Thala in mind and once again he has written a story for the actor.
However, AR Murugadoss did not reveal whether he has met Ajith and discussed about story or not. But he claimed that he is going to team up with the actor for a Tamil film very soon. It may be recalled that there was buzz recently on Udhayanidhi Stalin producing their film.
The multilingual director has often spoken about his wish to work with Ajith. In fact, the filmmaker had met the actor after his blockbuster "Kaththi." There were reports that the duo could finally team up, but the "Mankatha" star was apparently not convinced with the script.
Later, AR Murugadoss said that he was willing to direct Ajith anytime but the decision needs to be taken by the actor.
The director made a sensational debut with Ajith starrer "Dheena" in 2001. The film had redefined the actor's career and it was from this movie that the star got his pet name Thala.
Currently, AR Murugadoss is busy with his Bollywood film "Akira," starring Sonakshi Sinha and the film is a remake of Tamil movie "Mouna Guru." He will be directing a bilingual film featuring Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu this year.
On the other hand, Ajith will be teaming up with Siruthai Siva again for a movie, which will take off in April. He is likely to collaborate with Vishnuvardhan for a period flick. It is only after these films that his film with AR Murugadoss is expected to go on floors.
