Yes, all eyes are set on the rolling ball beginning Wonder Woman's release followed by Justice League, but DC fans are awaiting the Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa rule over the waters in Aquaman. Though he will make an official debut in Justice League in November this year, the actor is occupied with the filming of his solo DC movie in Australia.

However, Aquaman Momoa took some time out to reveal some inside details from his individual movie on the Aqua God. The actor revealed that Aquaman is an outsider on both land and water world.
"The guy was never really accepted on land, and he was never really accepted in Atlantis. He's a half-breed. But he's the best of both worlds," Momoa told in an interview to GQ Magazine.
He delves deeper into his role to share that Aquaman will portray Aqua God's journey from a young adult to the King. "He just doesn't know how to handle his powers. So it's kind of a coming of age for a young man to a man, or a man to a king. He's lost a lot of things and he's got to cope. He's an outsider," he explained.
Momoa also revealed an important responsibility set on his shoulder: to set the tone of the movie. "We've never really seen anything from this guy before, so it's fun to have a level playing field. There aren't like four Aquamans before me. I get to set the tone for it," he added, clearly comparing his role with that of Batman.
Standing at an advantage here, it looks like Momoa is going to make use of every opportunity to set the benchmark for Aquaman's on screen for years to come. If the movie racks in big numbers at the box office, DC and Warner Bros could possibly launch a slew of Aquaman movies, like the Batman series, banking on the success of Arthur Curry.
Aquaman is scheduled to release on December 21, right in time for the holiday season next year. But before the James Wan directorial debuts on the big screen, Momoa will don his attire to join the Justice League with Batman Ben Affleck, Superman Henry Cavill, Wonder Woman Gal Gadot and others on November 17, this year.
