Aprilia's SR 150 is scheduled to be launched in India on Aug. 22 and now ahead of its launch, the premium scooter of the Italian brand has been spotted yet again, this time in a leaked brochure, giving a pretty clear picture of the features and specifications of the model.
The latest leaks come from the motor buffs at Team BHP, and the leaked brochures confirm that the Aprilia SR 150 will be offered in two colours — black and white. As for features, the SR 150 will pack double-barrel headlight unit, twin-pod analog unit for speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer, 14-inch black alloy wheels, dual-tone art leather seat and under seat storage and USB provision.
The Aprilia SR 150 will come powered by a 154.4cc 3-valve, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that also does duty in the Vespa 150 in the country. It will generate 11.39bhp of power and 11.5Nm of torque mated to a CVT unit. The scooter will employ telescopic front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear.
The premium scooter will be sold through Vespa dealerships in the country and is open for bookings at the dealers. The Aprilia SR 150 can also be booked through Paytm with full cashback offer on the booking amount. The company is expected to begin the delivery of the new scooter soon after its launch in the country and will be launched at an introductory price tag of Rs. 65,000.
Manufactured at Piaggio's India plant in Baramati, Maharashtra, the SR 150 is the first Aprilia model to be manufactured in India.
