Italian marquee Aprilia's SR 150 can be booked online through Paytm with a cash back offer. The Aprilia rolled out the new SR 150 from its Piaggio's India plant in Baramati, Maharashtra last week.
The customers can book the SR 150 through Paytm with a booking amount of Rs. 2,000. The Paytm also offers 100 percent cash back offer on the booking amount. The Aprilia SR 150 has been priced at Rs. 65,000. The deliveries of the new Aprilia SR 150 are expected to begin soon and the scooter also opens for bookings at the Vespa dealerships of the company. Aprilia will sell the new scooter in India through Vespa.
It is the first Aprilia model to be manufactured in India. Powering the SR 150 scooter is a 154.4cc 3-valve, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that also does duty in the Vespa 150 in the country. It will generate 11.39bhp of power and 11.5Nm of torque mated to a CVT unit. The scooter will employ telescopic front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear. It will run on 14-inch alloy wheels wrapped around 120/70 spec wheels. The braking will be taken care of by 220mm disc at front and 140mm drum brakes at rear.
Aprilia SR 150 gets beak-styled front apron twin headlamp, handle bar mounted turn indicators and instrument cluster with a twin-pod analog unit for speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer.
There are also reports doing the rounds that Aprilia could add more variants to its SR range in the country. Although it is not clear whether the Italian brand will bring the powerful or less powerful model of the SR to India, it is being said that one of the models would come in 2017.
