This was probably not the desired reaction Apple, the leading smartphone maker, was hoping for when it announced a slew of devices recently. The company unveiled its much awaited iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, Apple TV, iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Generally the launch of most Apple products is greeted with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case when the company announced the release of the Apple Pencil.
Fans started making fun of the device. Some also compared it to the Apple Watch — a device many users bought, only to store it away and never use it. While most of the comments were hilarious, some comments also displayed anger towards the company, for taking advantage of users' ignorance.
The Apple Pencil was not the only device to come under the wrath of Twitterati. Fans also took to the microblogging site to make fun of the iPhone 6S and its new Force Touch feature. Many of the jokes were related to Star Wars.
That's not all! It was also rumoured that artists such as Adele and Drake would be releasing a surprise album after the Apple event. However, fans were disappointed to see that all they got was a performance from One Republic instead.
Take a look at some of the funniest Twitter reactions that'll have you rolling on the floor:
