Ahead of the official availability of Apple's much anticipated smartphones, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Paytm, the e-commerce platform, has announced to pre-book the device.
Apple had announced the official release date a week ago through a press release which mentioned the availability of the device from 16 October.
Paytm will start accepting advance booking for both iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus from Thursday. To make iPhone fans happy, Paytm has also announced a special offer with every pre-booking. Paytm users can pre-book the iPhone 6S starting today and get their hands on the coveted phone on the very day of its launch in India.
Paytm has kicked off a flash sale model where every day, between 12 noon and 6 pm, limited units of iPhone 6S will be up for pre-booking. The pre-booking amount has been kept at Rs 2,000.
Paytm, in association with banks, will also run attractive cashback offers to give an additional benefit to buyers.
Amit Bagaria, associate vice president, Paytm said, "Getting the iPhone 6S in hand on the day of launch itself is a big deal for all ardent Apple fans. This initiative highlights our constant efforts to bring absolute delight to Paytm users. Limited stocks are available, so users should book early to avoid disappointment later."
All customers who pre-book the iPhone 6S on Paytm till 13 October would be sent an email/ sms, on 14 October, with a special link to pay the remaining amount and complete the booking. The customers who have completed the full payment, would receive the store location to pick the new IPhone 6S unit on the launch day.
There is no official confirmation of the pricing of iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus as of now but pricebaba.com has recently tipped thatiPhone 6S and 6S Plus will be available across stores starting from 15, October, 2015 midnight.
They mentioned that the price of iPhone 6S will start at Rs 62,000 for its 16GB model, while you will have to pay Rs 10,000 more if you intend to buy iPhone 6S Plus with a similar storage.
They have further mentioned iPhone 6S 64GB and 128GB models will be available for Rs 72,000 and Rs 82,000, respectively, while the iPhone 6S Plus 64GB and 128GB models can be purchased for Rs 82,000 and Rs 92,000 respectively.
