Apple iPhone 6 Release Date, Price Details Leaked; Tipped to Debut on 19 September

Release date and price details of the much awaited Apple's new generation iPhone 6 have surfaced online sparking-off excitement among fans.

A promotional flyer of the iPhone 6 has been leaked by a Chinese user (via social network, Weibo), detailing the launch and price details. The flyer now in possession of GSM Insider, says that the Apple smartphones – 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models are slated to debut on 19 September for 5,288RNB (around $851/€630/₹51,400) and 6,288 RNB (around $749/€749/₹61,100) respectively.

Though the release date, 19 September is in line with Apple's annual iPhone launch strategy of unveiling on Friday's, there is one anomaly, that is the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 release date being pushed to next year.

Word on the street is that Apple's supply partner Foxconn is said to begin the mass production of 4.6-inch iPhone 6 variant this week, whereas the bigger 5.5-inch model production is said to start in August.

It is believed that Apple's supply partners are having a tough time producing advanced in-cell touch panel as well as newly designed iPhone 6 metal-casing, the problem seems to be even worse for the bigger 5.5-inch model.

This complication has apparently forced Apple to push the launch of the big-screen iPhone 6 model (aka iPhablet) to 2015, said the note released by Ming-chi Kuo to his investor clients (now available with Apple Insider).

According to the South Korean market watch-dog, KDB Daewoo Securities, known for its pretty decent track record of predicting Apple's device features, has listed the specifications of the upcoming iPhone 6 series devices.

Both iPhone 6 (4.7-inch) and iPhablet (aka iPhone Air) are expected to ship with the new-generation 64-bit architecture Apple A8 processor, 1GB RAM, Touch ID finger-print sensor, 8.0-megapixel camera with f2.2 aperture (with the possibility of featuring OIS: Optical Image Stabilizations), NFC, and slightly larger battery (50-70-percent more watts power to feed energy sapping iPhablet's large screen).

Though the rumors are running wild on the Internet, Apple is yet to respond to the speculations and until the company comes out and clears the air over the rumors, this report will remain as pure speculations only.
