If you think your pocket doesn't permit you to buy a genuinely good smartphone, especially an iPhone, there's now a chance to grab either the new iPhone 6 or the iPhone 6 Plus, as prices of both the phones have been cut by up to ₹5,500 on major e-commerce sites.
As anticipated, Apple launched its new iPhones in India back in October last year. Though the company hasn't announced an official price drop, it seems like both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are available on Indian e-commerce sites at the reduced prices.
For the moment, third-party sellers on e-commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon India have introduced attractive discounts on all variants of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
While iPhone 6 16GB variant was launched for ₹53,500, it's now available for as low as ₹48,454 and ₹50,275 on Flipkart and Amazon India, respectively.
To be precise, here's a detailed breakdown of the revised prices: Apple iPhone 6 16GB (launched at ₹53,500) now available for ₹48,454 on Flipkart and ₹50,275 on Amazon India; Apple iPhone 6 64GB (launched at ₹62,500) now available for ₹57,440 on Flipkart.
Apple iPhone 6 128GB (launched at ₹71,500) now available for ₹69,999 on Flipkart and ₹70,999 on Amazon India; Apple iPhone 6 Plus 16GB (launched at Rs. 62,500) now available for ₹55,999 on Flipkart and ₹56,990 on Amazon India; Apple iPhone 6 Plus 64GB (launched at ₹71,500) now available for ₹68,990 on Flipkart and ₹65,999 on Amazon India.
Lastly, Apple iPhone 6 Plus 128GB (launched at ₹80,500) is now available for ₹78,085 on Flipkart and ₹73,999 on Amazon India. The drop in prices was reported by The Times of India.
There's more in store. Apart from the price cut, Flipkart and Amazon India are further luring buyers by bundling in offers. Amazon India, for example, is offering a cashback of ₹8,400 on the purchase of any of the iPhone using a HDFC Credit Card. Flipkart, however, is offering a 10 percent cashback to Citibank credit card users.
The Apple iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7-inch HD (1334x750p) display and is powered by a powerful A8 processor and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on the latest iOS 8 and has an 8MP iSight camera that features phase detection and can take 43MP panorama photos.
The iPhone 6 Plus, on the other hand, sports a 5.5-inch (1920x1080p) display and, similar to the iPhone 6, it is powered by A8 processor and 1GB RAM, while also running on iOS 8. Apple's first-ever phablet also features an 8MP camera with optical image stabilization and packs a big 2915mAh battery.
