American technology behemoth, Apple is reportedly gearing up for the company event to launch a new premium iPhone next month.
Technology news publications 'All Things D' quoting their sources reported that the Cupertino company would host an Apple event on 10 September to launch the much-awaited next generation premium smartphone dubbed as iPhone 5S.
Considering the accuracy of All Things D's predictions regarding the Apple events in the past, Apple fans can be rest assured that they are more likely get their hands on the new generation iPhone soon.
However, the media house refrained from confirming if the plastic based iPhone 5C aka iPhone Lite would be making its debut along with the iPhone 5S. Some still believe that the low-cost iPhone variant may get unveiled later this year even if it's not released next month.
The upcoming Apple iPhone 5S is rumoured to sport same physical and design frame of its predecessor. Major improvements are expected to be seen under the hood, mainly faster quad-core A7 chipset, new iOS v7.0, 13.0-megapixel camera with Dual-LED flash for enhanced photography experience under low-light environment, enhanced voice search feature Siri and NFC (Near Field Communications).
The main USP of the new premium iPhone is said to be the fingerprint scanner to unlock the screen. iPhone 5C will reportedly sport smaller 3.5-ich display and run on new iOS 7, old Apple A5 chipset, 5.0-megapixel main camera and house plastic shell offered with multiple colour options.
