Apple Inc's yet-to-be-released next generation smartphone has been named iPhone 5 by various sections of the media; it's alleged sample photos and features have been leaked; speculations on the release date has been doing the rounds but Apple bosses haven't uttered a word on the rumours.
Now, PCWorld has claimed that it has obtained documents that match the images leaked on net.
New Zealand PCWorld has obtained a document sent to a New Zealand retailer detailing the iPhone 5's components. The components pictured in the document match the images already leaked by repair company iResQ, reported PCWorld.
The document comes from a trusted source, and was originally sent by a reputable supplier of iPhone components in China, it added.
According to the reports by PCWorld, the new iPhone looks like iPhone 4s with a taller look and has the same battery as seen in iResQ. The power connector is also said to smaller than the previous version as reported earlier
Apple Inc. is tight-lipped till date and nobody knows who is spreading the rumours. Maybe the makers of iPhone are leaking information on the new product or maybe not, but they are indirectly encouraging speculation by keeping silent - free publicity.
Recently, French website nowhereelse.fr published a set of photos and a video claiming to be that of the much-anticipated smartphone iPhone 5. It placed the photos of the new iPhone next to iPhone 4S so as to give a clear picture of how the new iPhone will look like.
Not long ago, tech site GottaBeMobile carried the metal iPhone 5 design sample along with some of its specifications, claiming that a trusted source inside the Apple supply chain in China gave the information.
iPhone 5 is slightly taller and slimmer than iPhone 4 thought the width is same, reported GottaBeMobile. According to the site, iPhone 5 is 120mm tall compared iPhone 4S' 115.2mm, which means it has bigger screen display.
It reported that iPhone 5 will be announced on September 12 and then put out for sales ten days later.
Pricedekho.com reported that the next-generation smartphone from Apple would arrive India either in October or November and is expected to be priced ₹45,000 approximately.
According to rumours, iPhone 5 will feature a 4-inch Retina display, an A5X Variant chip, 1GB RAM, iOS 6, 4G LTE technology, Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, improved Siri, liquidmetal casing, an 8 megapixel (or even higher) rear camera, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and a much-improved battery life.
