Apple's much hyped tablet iPad Mini with Retina display is now available for orders on Apple's online store, according to the website. The much awaited iPad Mini Retina is said to be available in the US and 40 other markets worldwide, as a part of the first wave launch.
Since just the 16GB Wi-Fi only variant is readily available online, users who want more storage space versions might have to wait a little longer.

It was earlier noted that the delay in the shipment of the iPad Mini Retina was due to production limitations, as the firm was unable to manufacture enough Retina screens to meet market demands. The overall detail in the delay can be seen here.
In related news, it has also been revealed that Apple's flagship smartphone iPhone 5S will start shipping in 1-2 weeks, including all the handset versions and the gold model, which was short of supply since the launch.
