Apple's recently unveiled iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 have been put for sale in India via online stores.
The home-grown e-commerce sites, Flipkart and Infibeam, have begun taking the orders for new Apple iPad series with prices starting from ₹28,900 for the compact iPad Mini 3 and ₹35,900 for bigger iPad Air 2.
For the uninitiated, the metal-clad Apple iPad Air 2 weighs just 437g and measures just 6.1mm in thickness, making it one of the slimmest in the market in 9.0-inch plus size class.
Under the hood, it packs new generation 64-bit class Apple A8X CPU backed by M8 co-processor and houses 8mp iSight camera with 5-element lens, f/2.4 aperture and a 1.2mp FaceTime camera with HD (720p) video-recording, face-detection and is powered by built-in 27.3-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.
On the other hand, the smaller iPad Mini 3 sports a 7.9-inch LED back-lit multi-touch retain display with 2,048x1,536p resolutions and is powered by iOS 8.0 backed by A7(64-bit architecture) with M7 motion co-processor and houses 5mp iSight camera with 5-element lens, f/2.4 aperture, 1.2mp camera on the front with HD (720p) video-recording, face-detection and is run by built-in 23.8-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.
