American technology giant Apple Inc is reportedly planning to release the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 in India this week.
Popular PC vendor ITNET Infocom confirmed (via Twitter) on Thursday that the new Apple iPad series slates will hit stores in India on Friday, 21 September. "Ipad air 2 and ipad mini 3 coming tomorrow," said the ITNET Twitter handle.
Technology website NDTV Gadgets, which broke the news first, adds that Apple India home page has been updated with iPad Air 2 photos and a tag – "Change is in the Air." Previously, the page was adorned with iPhone 6 series images, since the official launch in September.
Now, the change in Apple home page has given way to the speculations that the new iPad series tablets might get released this weekend.
The company released the India price details of Apple iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 soon after the official launch last month, now if ITNET is to be believed, Apple fans can get their hands on the new devices this weekend.
However, we still advise our readers to take this report with a proverbial pinch of salt, since the Apple is yet to officially confirm the news.
