Aparna Balamurali, who rose to fame with the blockbuster movie "Maheshinte Prathikaaram," is set to establish a mark as an actress and playback singer in the entertainment industry. The actress, who had also crooned "Maunangal" for the Fahadh Faasil-starrer, has now sung for an upcoming Malayalam movie.
The multi-talented actress, who was well-appreciated for her performance and singing in Dileesh Pothan's debut directorial venture, has recorded the song "Vinnil Theliyum Mekhame" with Vijay Yesudas for Anoop Menon and Murali Gopy starrer "Pa..Va," in which the actors play senior citizens. The music of the song has been composed by Anand Madhusoodanan and the Suku Damodar has penned its lyrics.
The upcoming film, directed by Suraj Tom, narrates the incidents that happen in the life of Pappan and Varkey, played by Anoop and Murali, respectively. Actress Prayaga Martin, who was last seen opposite Unni Mukundan in "Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya," plays the female lead role in "Pa..Va."
The family entertainer also has yesteryear actors Jose, Ramu, Ranjini, dubbing artiste Bhagyalakshmi, Renji Panicker, KPAC Lalitha, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Prasanth, Edavela Babu, Muthumani, Ponnamma Babu, Sunil Sukhada, Ashokan, P Balachandran, Vanitha Krishnachandran, Shammi Thilakan, Naseer Sankranthi, Arya Satheesh Babu, Sreekumar Nair and Indrans in significant roles.
"Pa..Va," scripted by Ajeesh Thomas and produced by Siyad Mohammad, will hit the screens as a Ramadan release in July.
