Noticing the smartphone boom in the country, display manufacturer company AOC has launched two budget Android smartphones and a 3G calling tablet. The budget 3G smartphones are named as AOC M601 and AOC E40 and the 3G calling tablet is dubbed as AOC D70V50G.
The entry-level E40 smartphone comes with a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels and dual sim slots. It has a 2mp rear camera with an LED flash and a much-required 0.3mp front camera, 512MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz MTK6572 Dual Core processor and a 1,600mAh battery and comes with standard features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB Port and FM Radio. The E40 is priced at ₹4,490 and is available in two colour options — black and white.
The premium M601 smartphone sports a 6-inch IPS capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 960x540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MTK8312 Dual Core processor and features 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. It also equips 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB Port and FM Radio. Backed up by a 2,100mAh battery, 512MB of RAM, 5mp rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3mp front camera, it is available in black and flamingo red colour at ₹7,990.
The company's flagship tablet - D70V50G offers dual-SIM functionality and supports voice-calling. It comes with 7-inch capacitive multi-touch display with a resolution of 1,024x600 pixels and is powered by 1.3GHz MTK8321 Dual Core processor. The tablet has 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB), 1GB RAM, 3,000mAh battery and 2mp rear camera along with a 0.3mp front-facing camera. It supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Built-in GPS/ A-GPS with Google Maps, Micro USB Port and FM Radio. The D70V50G is priced at ₹7,750 and is available in black and metallic grey colour options.
All the three devices run on Android 4.4 KitKat and support 21 Indian languages and localisation in 11 languages with Adaptxt keyboard.
