The makers of Anushka Shetty's most-talked-about movie "Rudramadevi" (Rudhrama Devi) have planned to launch its audio in two different locations of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on 21 and 22 March.
Directed and produced by "Rudramadevi" is India's first historical stereoscopic 3D film. It has six soundtracks and music maestro Ilaiyaraaja has composed tunes for them. He has also composed background score for it. His music is said to be one of the main highlights of the movie.
"Rudramadevi" is based on the life of Rudrama Devi, a 13th-century queen of Kakatiya dynasty. Anushka Shetty has played the titular role in this period movie. The producer has planned to release three songs of the film at a grand function held at MGM Park beach in Vizag at 6:30pm on Saturday. Remaining three songs will be released in another music launch function to be held in Warangal on Sunday.
If we are to go by the reports, filmmaker Gunasekhar has requested AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM Chandra Sekhar Rao to attend the audio launch function as chief guests and release three songs each in their respective states. Others political leaders are also expected to grace these events.
"Rudramadevi" features an ensemble cast of Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Suman, Adithya Menon, Nithya Menen, Aditi Chengappa, Catherine Tresa, Hamsa Nandini, Baba Sehgalji and others. The cast is expected to be present at the audio launch. Besides posting photo featuring him with Anushka, Rana tweeted, "Heading to Vizag for #RudrammaDevi audio launch. See you Vizag!!!"
The audio launch of "Rudramadevi" will be a grand affair with many celebrities gracing the occasion in Vizag. The event is being aired live on NTV and some other Telugu TV channels. It is also live streamed on YouTube.
