Anushka Shetty's 'Rudhramadevi' Theatrical Trailer Launched [Video]

Filmmaker Gunasekhar has launched the theatrical trailer of his much-talked about Telugu-Tamil movie "Rudhramadevi" starring Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun in the leads.

A post on the official Twitter handle of the movie reads: "2 minutes 2D Theatrical Trailer of #Rudhramadevi at 6 PM today! RT if you are excited!"

The theatrical trailer of "Rudhramadevi" was premiered at a function held at Prasad's IMAX in Hyderabad on 28 February. Anushka Shetty, Gunasekhar and distributor Dil Raju were present on the occasion. The event was attended by 50 lucky winners of a contest, which was recently organised by the makers. Each winner was given two passes. 

"Rudhramadevi" is India's first stereoscopic 3D historic film written, directed and produced by Gunasekhar. The audience, who watched its trailer at the premiere, were mesmerised by it. They could not stop raving Gunasekhar's direction and the performance of Anushka and others. 

"Rudhramadevi" deals with the life of the 13th century revered Telugu queen of the Kakatiya dynasty. Actress Anushka Shetty will be seen as Rudrama Devi in the film, while Allu Arjun, Krishnam Raju, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Adithya Menon, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa essay other important roles in the movie.

Ilaiyaraaja has composed music, soundtracks and background score of "Rudhramadevi", while Ajayanan Vincent has handled the cinematography.

The movie has Thotta Tharani's art direction and Neeta Lulla's costumes. The film, which has been made on a budget of ₹50 crore, has almost completed production and is gearing upto release in theatres on 26 March.
