After impressing critics and fans alike with her performance in the teaser of "Sultan," Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma stole hearts in her first look from "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil." Director Karan Johar wished Anushka on her birthday on May 1 by disclosing her look in the film.
The picture shows Anushka sitting in a coffee shop, completely lost in an Oliver Sacks' novel while enjoying a cup of coffee. Dressed in black with her hair open, Anushka is also sporting a nose ring in the still from the Karan Johar-directed movie.
According to earlier reports, Anushka will be shown belonging to a royal family in Karachi. Her love interest will be played by Fawad Khan. "Anushka and Fawad are from Karachi, who meet each other in a foreign country. Fawad is a DJ while Anushka comes from a nawabi family," a source had told Deccan Chronicle.
"The two fall in love abroad but once they come back to Karachi and Fawad approaches Anushka's family to ask for her hand, he is ridiculed for belonging to a lower class... a bhand (jester or entertainer) by profession, and sent away... A dejected Anushka leaves her home too," the source added.
"Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" also features Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. Fans are now curious to know about the film's storyline as it was reported initially that Ranbir and Anushka would be the romantic pair in the film. Also, the story was said to feature a love triangle in which Ranbir would be seen romancing Aishwarya as well. It looks like Karan may really have an interesting story to tell his fans, one which prompted him to take the director's chair three years after his last project, "Bombay Talkies."

Scheduled to be released on Oct. 28, the movie has been shot in London, Vienna and also in Rajasthan, India. "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" will aim to touch viewers' hearts, as it tells the story of a man who falls in love with an older woman.
