Earlier this year, Salman Khan had said that he will be next seen in a Bhansali film but didn't disclose what the project was about. According to Bollywood Hungama, it is also being said that Salman has recommended Anushka's name to Bhansali to cast her in his upcoming film opposite him.
While Anushka is yet give her nod to the project, it will be interesting to see Salman and Anushka coming together after their blockbuster film Sultan. The film is likely to go on floors next year and will be aiming for an Eid release.
Meanwhile, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor, who made her debut with Dhadak, has reportedly bagged her next project produced by Dharma Productions which is a biopic on pilot Gunjan Saxena. While Janhvi will be playing the titular role in the biopic, Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan, who made his Bollywood debut with Karwaan, will be romantically paired opposite Sridevi's daughter.
"Karan Johar thinks Janhvi has the right posture and attitude to play Gunjan Saxena. No, Janhvi won't actually fly a helicopter in the film. But she is going to learn how the helicopter works so she looks comfortable inside a helicopter," a source told Bollywood Hungama.
Janhvi will also be seen in Karan Johar's upcoming magnum opus Takht which features an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
