Anushka Sharma and Saif Ali Khan to come together for a film?

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has worked with all the Khans of Bollywood, except Saif Ali Khan. The recent buzz is Saif might appear in the "Sultan" actress' production film, which will be helmed by "Delhi Belly" writer Akshat Verma.

Saif's nod for the project has not been confirmed yet. If everything goes well, the "Rangoon" actor will be seen in a quirky comic avatar in Akshat's film, according to ANI. Anushka's production company, Clean Slate Productions, has already delivered the wonderful "NH10," starring the actress.

Her powerful performance in the film garnered immense appreciation from all quarters. She is now set to appear in her second production film, "Phillauri," whose shooting has also started. It had been reported that Anushka will play a fun ghost in this flick opposite Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh.

Directed by debutant Ashai Lal, "Phillauri" is said to be an uncommon love story full of humour and set in Phillaur, Punjab. After starring in both her production films, it will be interesting to see Anushka with Saif in Akshat's film.

Meanwhile, both actors are busy with their respective projects. Saif will appear in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon," which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut. And, Anushka is shooting for Salman Khan-starrer "Sultan" and Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," which also features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Fawad Khan and Ranbir Kapoor in pivotal roles.

While Anushka will be seen in a romantic and elegant avatar in the KJo directorial, she plays a wrestler in "Sultan." Anushka will be seen fighting with Salman, who also plays a wrestler, and other international wrestlers. The makers of "Sultan" will soon release the second teaser of the film, which will introduce Anushka's character.
