Director Anurag Kashyap is presently happy having moved on from his relation with separated wife Kalki Koechlin.
The "Dev D" filmmaker is reportedly in love again and is dating Assistant Director (AD) Sabrina Khan. The pair's relation blossomed during the filming of "Bombay Velvet" where Khan has worked as an AD.
The dating reports have been confirmed by Kashyap, who admitted, "Yes, I am dating someone. I'm in a really happy phase right now," reported Mumbai Mirror.
Further when asked if his girlfriend was Khan, the filmmaker affirmed the query and let out "I have never camouflaged my personal life. If I'm dating someone, I won't hide it."
Kashyap, who is separated from his second wife Kalki Koechlin, revealed that the actress is well aware of his equation with Khan.
"She (Kalki) was the first person I confided in. She is happy that I am happy," Kashyap told the daily.
Kashyap and Koechlin had got married in 2011. The celebs had announced their separation mutually in November last year but they haven't filed for divorce yet.
Despite the separation and his new love life, the director still appears to share a warm equation with Koechlin.
"I and Kalki are separated. We are very good friends and we will stay very good friends... It is a simple healthy relationship," the director told PTI recently.
It should be noted that Kashyap during his appearance on "Koffee with Karan" earlier this year had stated that irrespective of the separation, he was not ready to give up on the relation. He had said that Koechlin was the best thing to have happened to him and praised the actress.
But now as Kashyap has openly declared that he is dating Khan, there is a possibility that the couple might file for legal separation. However, neither Kashyap nor Koechlin has hinted at divorce yet.
The director was also married to film editor, Aarti Bajaj at one point with whom he has a young daughter named Aaliya. The couple had divorced in 2009.
Meanwhile, another celebrity couple Karisma Kapoor and husband Sunjay Kapur, who were recently in news for a custody fight of their children, are said to have filed for divorce, reported Mumbai Mirror.
The actress was spotted in Bandra family court on Thursday where the divorce case hearing took place for over three hours. The duo is said to have reached an amicable separation including custody of their two children, Samaira and Kiaan.
A friend of the couple informed the daily that the divorce was already filed some time ago but was kept under wraps and said "the two realised that there is no point in fighting anymore and decided to separate on good terms."
The lawyers of both parties, however, have maintained strict silence over the divorce and have refused to let out anything.
Karisma had married Industrialist Sunjay back in September 2003.
