Anthony Joshua extended his unbeaten run to 19-0 after he defeated Wladimir Klitschko via a technical knockout in the 11th round and talks of a potential rematch are already coming up. Reports say that Klitschko has an immediate rematch clause which he could exercise as soon as possible, with the rematch being scheduled for either October or November.
"I believe Wladimir is keen to do the rematch. If he is then it is a sequel people would definitely want to see. I'm sure Wlad believes he nearly had AJ out of there and I know that AJ wants to iron out some mistakes and do a better job next time," Boxing scene quoted Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn as saying.

While a rematch against Klitschko could be scheduled before the year's end, Joshua's promoter confirmed that any possibility of him fighting Tyson Fury would have to wait until April of next year. Fury also defeated Klitschko in 2015 but has not stepped inside the ring since then. Mental health issues forced him to give up his titles and his boxing license was also suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control.
The issue regarding Fury testing positive for a banned substance in early 2015 is also still a problem but Hearn confirmed that Joshua wants nothing more than to see Fury get back in the ring. Despite all the issues Fury is going through, Hearn said that if there was a possibility to make the fight happen they would.

"There is nothing I or AJ would want more than to see Tyson back in the ring. But it won't be next. Tyson just won't be ready. Physically he is not at the races and he has a lot to resolve in terms of his doping hearing and getting his licence back. As it stands, I think the best chance of a Fury fight is April 2018, at Wembley. That depends on a successful defence in October or November. Rest assured, if we can make it happen, we will make it happen," Hearn said.
After he defeated Klitschko, Joshua called out Fury during his post-fight interview and said: "Fury, where are you at, baby?"
Fury responded to Joshua's callout by saying he could defeat him with one hand tied behind his back and that he would not even have to warm up. Fury believes that the whole world wants to see the two of them fight.
"There's only one fight out there, the biggest fight in the world and everyone knows that. It is the heavyweights, it is me and AJ, no one else. It is the only one the world wants to see and I am the lineal champion, I am still No.1 in the world. We all saw (his career) had a life and death situation against Klitschko, but Klitschko couldn't land a glove on me," Fury said.
