The full movie of Antariksham 9000 KMPH (Anthariksham) has been leaked on the internet on its opening day. The free download of its pirated copy to take toll on its collection at the box office.
Some miscreants, who are known for their notorious activities on the internet, allegedly recorded Antariksham during its screening a cinema halls on Friday. They released the full movie on their website for free download even before the movie wrapped up its first day in the theatres. Their website offers 6 different HQ prints with their size varying from 2.2GB to 200MB.
Thousands of people have apparently downloaded the full movie of Antariksham in the last one day. A viewer, who watched its pirated copy is not happy with it. He says that this print has a very audio and video quality and does give good viewing experience. He adds that the film should be watched in the cinema halls for its real space experience.
Antariksham is a science fiction space thriller film, which is rarely explored in Indian cinema. Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame has written and directed the film, which features Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles. The movie has struck a chord with the film goers across the globe and received a good talk from everyone.
Antariksham has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 20 crore and its theatrical rights have been sold for a fancy price of Rs 21 crore. The stakes are really high on the film. But the movie did not get enough number of cinema halls, as it was released with other big-ticket movies like Zero, KGF: Chapter 1 and Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
The filmgoers have four options for watching this weekend and if they do not the screening of Antariksham in nearby theatres, they might resort to downloading the full movie from the torrent sites. This might affect its collection at the box office and incur losses to its distributors, who have put a huge amount on the bet.
However, Antariksham made an average collection of Rs 4.20 crore gross at the worldwide box office on the first day. A strong word of mouth helped it fare well on Saturday, taking its two day total to Rs 7.45 crore. The movie is estimated to have earned Rs 3 crore for its distributors in two days.
