The police Special Task Force (STF) on Wednesday arrested a man suspected to be spying for Pakistan and other countries, an official said.
Saikh Badal (59) was arrested by the STF on Wednesday afternoon from near the Regional Passport Office in Kolkata.
He has been charged with several offences, including waging or attempting to wage war against the country, said an STF officer.
With this arrest, the STF has so far nabbed six suspected agents of Pakistan's ISI from Kolkata.
