Anna Duggar's apparent decision to divorce her cheating husband, "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar, hasn't pleased her mother-in-law Michelle, who seems to have dissed Anna in a recent blog post.
Shortly after news of Anna's alleged intention to file for divorce hit the Internet, Michelle took to her website to post an article on the sacrifices one has to make to maintain a successful marriage.
One of the key points, according to Michelle, is to be available to your husband's "sexual needs."
"So when you are exhausted at the end of the day, maybe from dealing with little ones, and you fall into bed so exhausted at night, don't forget about him because you and he are the only ones who can have that time together. No one else in the world can meet that need," Michelle noted.
Michelle added: "Be available, and not just available, but be joyfully available for him. Smile and be willing to say, 'Yes, sweetie I am here for you,' no matter what, even though you may be exhausted and big pregnant and you may not feel like he feels. 'I'm still here for you and I'm going to meet that need because I know it's a need for you.".
Not surprisingly, Michelle's blog post has stirred a controversy, with many pointing out that the Duggar family matriarch was unnecessarily throwing shade at Anna by finding excuses for her son's behaviour.
As people who have been following the scandal already know, this isn't the first time Michelle has supported her eldest son. When news of Josh molesting his sisters grabbed headlines, it was revealed that Michelle blamed her daughters for not dressing appropriately.
As for the future of Josh and Anna's relationship, it looks like she is ready to pull the plug on her marriage. Although her faith does not believe in divorce, Anna's siblings are reportedly urging her to leave her past behind and cut off all ties with her cheating husband.
"Her sibling wants her to leave and are hoping her time in Florida will help give her clarity," a source revealed, according to HollywoodLife. "[Anna] is really starting to believe that divorce is the only option."
