Anna Duggar, will soon welcome her fourth child, a girl, with husband Josh Duggar. But that did not stop her from visiting her pregnant sister-in-law, Jill Duggar, in Arkansas, who is almost two weeks overdue with her son.
Anna and Josh with their three children, Mackynzie, Michael and Marcus visited their in-laws over the weekend to celebrate Easter with the whole family. Anna confirmed she was with her in-laws posting a photo on Instagram on Sunday. "So glad to be with family as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior!" she wrote.
The Duggar Family Blog said that though Easter was a wonderful opportunity for visiting the family, the real reason for their visit was to see how Jill was doing as she has already overshot her due date. "You can bet Josh and Anna are hoping Jill deliver Baby Dilly before they return to Washington, D.C.," the blogpost titled "Easter with the Duggars" read.
In fact Jill recently had the Braxton-hicks contractions but baby Dilly does not seem to want to come out as of yet. So Derick posted a picture of Jill on Instagram holding a board that had "41 week and still counting" on it and captioned the picture as, "Still waiting to meet our little guy. Maybe we'll have an Easter baby!"
Jill's son, whom she refers to as "Billy-Dilly", was due on 24 March. Husband Derrick Dillard had expected the baby's arrival on 29 March, when the couple completed one year of togetherness. But when that did not happen, they thought the baby would come by the weekend.
"19 Kids and Counting" fans are eager to get a first glimpse of Jill and Derick's baby and TLC will air a special feature. The episode will air at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
