While Star Plus hit show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has been ruling the hearts of millions of viewers, the lead couple Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman (Karan Patel) have also turned out to be viewers' favourites.
However, not just Divyanka and Karan, even Anita Hassanandani, who plays the negative character of Shagun, with the cruel intention of ruining Ishita-Raman's lives, has also been garnering a lot of popularity.
Anita and her popularity have now reached another channel Big Magic, which has reportedly roped her for its comedy show "Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal".
While one may wonder if Anita is quitting "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" for the comedy show, it has been learnt that the actress will only make a special appearance in "Bal Gopal Kare Dhamaal". She is very much associated with her role as Shagun in the Star Plus show.
In "Bal Gopal Kare Dhamal", the 34-year-old actress will essay the role of Sasha Kapoor, a Bollywood actress who helps fulfill Gopal's (Satyajit Sharma) birthday wish, reported The Times of India. The episode will be aired on Friday 27 March.
Previously, the TV actress has been part of shows such as "Kavyanjali", "Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo" and reality show "Khatron Ke Khiladi".
Apart from television, Anita has also played some important roles in films such as "Kucch To Hai", "Ragini MMS 2" and "Dus Kahaniyaan".
She will soon feature in Salman Khan production film "Hero" starring newcomers Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
