Anirudh Ravichander, who is one of the fast-growing musicians of South India, is finally ready to make his debut in Tollywood. The composer has been signed for Pawan Kalyan's forthcoming movie, which will be written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
The music director himself has confirmed the news and said that he has a given nod to work in a Telugu movie after missing out on chances to score music on several occasions. Talking about the songs, Anirudh said that the album is not a regular one that is often seen in Telugu films.
"Trivikram is a chilled-out person and convinced me that this film will suit me and stand out from the usual Telugu norm. I was lured. Let me see how it goes," Anirudh told Only Kollywood.
Anirudh Ravichander had got a lot of offers earlier to compose music in Tollywood. In fact, he was approached to score music in films like Nithin and Samantha's A...Aa, Ram Charan Teja's films like Bruce Lee The Fighter and his upcoming Dhruva. However, he could not take up those projects for reasons best known to him.
The music director made his debut with Aishwarya Dhanush's directorial debut 3. The song 'Kolaveri di' from the movie had become a sensation and the talk of the town. Big names from all the leading film industries had appreciated the track and the young composer became a household name overnight.
Since his debut, his popularity has increased with every film. Anirudh has composed music for movies of stars like Ilayathalapathy Vijay (Kaththi), Ajith (Vedalam and forthcoming Thala 57), etc.
His forthcoming films are: newcomers' films like Rum and Aakko, Mohan Raja's untitled movie with Sivakarthikeyan and Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam.
