Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally reached a joint custody agreement for their six children. But Brad Pitt is reportedly spending a hefty amount to reach a compromise. As per the latest report, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood movie star is going to spend up to $100 million.
After going through an ugly custody battle that lasted over two years, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally worked out a custody deal for their six children but things are not going to be that easy for Brad Pitt from hereon. As per a recent report by RadarOnline, apart from paying child support, Brad Pitt has to pay for "living expenses and education, security and other bills" for his six children until they all turn 21.
As per an alleged source, Brad Pitt got his kids' back but after working out a deal with Angelina Jolie, he is "looking at a very different reality" as it will reportedly hit him in the pocket until he is an old man.
"This was a big reason why the settlement took so long... Brad tried to fight it and stick up for himself, but he couldn't do anything to prevent Angie from taking pretty much half of everything he has," the alleged source further claimed.
As of this writing, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's reps have not commented on these $100 million claims. There are chances that these claims turn out to be nothing but yet another fabricated news about their private lives.
Earlier in August, Angelina Jolie reportedly claimed in court documents that her estranged husband Brad Pitt is not paying meaningful child support for their six children. As per Jolie's attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean, "[Pitt] has a statutory duty to pay child support. As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation."
In the court documents, which were later obtained by People, DeJean goes on to state that the Tomb Raider movie actress would like the court to have Brad pay her the money which she is owed.
"Given that the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file an RFO [request for a court order] for the establishment of a retroactive child support order," the documents state.
After these documents surfaced, a source close to Brad Pitt revealed that the Academy Award-winning actor has easily paid millions of dollars towards supporting his six children. As per the source, Brad Pitt has paid "far more than any informal agreement would stipulate and far more than any judge would have ordered paid if there had been such an order."
