Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are all set to expand their family by adopting another orphan. One of Hollywood's most powerful couples have reportedly finalised plans to adopt a Syrian boy.
Brangelina, who already are parents to six children, are prepping up to adopt a penniless orphan from a war-torn area, reported Radar Online. Apparently, the actress fell in love with the innocent boy during her recent visit to the country.
The report stated that Angie met three Syrian brothers, who were orphaned after their father was taken away by the soldiers and their mother was killed when their home was bombed.
"On one solo trip, Angelina met three Syrian orphan siblings. They were all brothers. Angelina was heartbroken to learn the three of them had seen their father taken away by Syrian soldiers, and their home was also bombed. But, the oldest of the three was very quiet and never left Angie's side during the visit," a source said.
As you may already know that the "Mr and Mrs Smith" stars have six children --- three biological (Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne), and three adopted (Maddox from Cambodia, Pax from Vietnam, and Ethiopian Zahara). And even here, the humanitarian was interested in adopting all the three boys, but apparently Brad disagreed.
"Angie wanted to adopt all three, but when she got back to the United States, and told Brad about it, he said no. Going from six children to nine was just way too much, and Brad was concerned about how it would impact their other kids. But Angie didn't put up a fight. She knew it just wouldn't work," a source said.
But now, according to the report, the couple has finalised on adopting one of the brothers. "It has been a very long process to adopt the Syrian orphan. The red tape has been almost impossible at times. It could take at least another four to five months before the child is brought to the United States," the source added.
It looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt family is going to get bigger.
