Earlier in the week, Google released the developer preview v2.0 of Android 7.1 Nougat to registered developers. Now, it has come to light the search engine will roll-out the public version Nexus series next month.
Australian arm of network carrier Vodafone on its official software support page has confirmed that the Android 7.1 Nougat will be deployed to Huawei's Google Nexus 6P from December 6 onwards.
Though, there is no word on whether other Nexus program affiliated devices such as LG's Google Nexus 5X, Motorola Nexus 6, HTC Nexus 9, Pixel C and Asus Nexus Player, would get the update in the same time-frame, they are certain to receive it, cause Google's v7.1 Nougat developer preview is being tested on all the aforementioned devices.
Furthermore, Google after announcing the commencement of Android 7.1 Nougat developer preview beta testing, had promised to deliver it all Nexus series devices in early December.
So, it's safe to assume that latest version of the Nougat will be rolled out to all eligible Nexus devices in same time.
