After months of delay, Sony has finally begun rolling out the Android Marshmallow update to three Xperia smartphones in India.
The Indian arm of the company has confirmed on Twitter that the new Android M is now being seeded to Xperia Z3+, Z5 and Z5 Premium models.
The announcement comes just days after Sony released the Android Marshmallow teaser video detailing the key features of the new OS.

Last week, Sony released Android Marshmallow beta to Xperia Z3 (D6603), Z3 Compact (D5803) and Z2 (D6503) series. Going by the previous software release pattern, the company is expected to deploy a public version in a few weeks, most probably by March-end or early April.
So far, Sony has rolled out the update to Xperia Z5, Z4 Premium, Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet.
Other devices, which are confirmed to receive the new OS, include Z5 Compact, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4.
The Android Marshmallow brings the new Doze, enhanced boot security, improved "Now on Tap" search and many value-added features to enhance user-experience.
