On 5 October, Google released the Android Marshmallow for its flagship Nexus series. Since then, numerous smartphone makers - Motorola, Sony, LG and others - have pledged to release the new update for their respective devices.
To provide a better perspective, we have gone through numerous reports to list out all the confirmed devices eligible for Google's new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Google Nexus series
The search engine giant has already released the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to Nexus 5, Nexus 6 and also, the tablet series Asus Nexus 7 (2013) and HTC Nexus 9 (2014).
Android One series
Like Nexus series, Google has already rolled out the new OS update to Android One series in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines and Myanmar.
As of now, there is no word on whether the update has been released to Infinix Hot 2 X 510, which is available in Africa (Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda and others).
But one thing we are sure is that Android M will certainly be rolled out to this device sooner or later.
Motorola
Even though Google sold off Motorola to China-based Lenovo, they both share a good rapport. It is visible in all Motorola devices as they run on the near-pure Android OS with no hint of bloat-wares seen in Samsung, HTC and others.
The good relations also extend to delivery of updates as well. Motorola is one of the fastest to roll out Lollipop to its Moto series in the smartphone industry; it even beat carrier-based Nexus phones last year.
But in 2015, LG has taken lead as the quickest to release the update to G4.
Motorola's senior engineer David Schuster (via Google+) has confirmed to have begun a small Marshmallow test drive for Moto X Style in the USA, hinting the company will soon start a full-fledged release soon.
Other Moto series devices that are confirmed to get the update include Moto X Pure Edition in the US (3rd gen & 2nd gen), Moto X Style (3rd gen), Moto X Play, Moto X (2nd gen), Moto Maxx (2014), Moto Turbo (2014), Nexus 6 (2014) and Moto G (3rd gen & 2 gen).
LG
LG has already released Android Marshmallow to the 2015 flagship G4 in Poland and home market South Korea, making it the first non-Nexus series to get the new update. The company has pledged to release it in other regions soon.
The company will also be rolling out the update to G3 and G Flex 2 as well.
Sony Xperia devices
The Japanese company has confirmed to deploy v6 Marshmallow to Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4.
HTC devices
The Taiwanese smartphone maker has already rolled out Marshmallow OS to HTC One M8 Google Edition in US. It will release the Android Marshmallow to One M9 and One M8 (regular model) by this year end [Check out the other eligible devices in the table below].
Samsung (via T-Mobile)
American network carrier has revealed that T-Mobile based Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 5, Note Edge, Galaxy S5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ and Tab S2 would get Android Marshmallow. But there is no word when the update would commence.

Huawei
