Chinese consumer electronics giant, Lenovo has launched a mid-range Android smartphone dubbed as S850 in India.
The new Lenovo handset sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) wide-view screen and ships with the Android v4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it comes packed with 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, PowerVR SGX544 graphics engine,1GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage, 13.0-megapixel camera (with LED flash, auto-focus), 5.0-megapixel snapper on the front and 2150 mAh Li-Polymer battery, which can power the phone up to 25 hours of talk time and close to 17 days under standby mode.
Lenovo S850 has been made available at the company's official online store (The Do Store) for ₹15,299. The new phone houses pretty decent specifications similar to other phones in its class, but the popular Moto G and the recently released feature-rich Xiaomi Mi3 will give a stiff competitions to it and also all other smartphones in the market.
On 22 July, Xiaomi Mi3 made a remarkable debut in India with stocks running out with 40 minutes (as claimed by the company). The news is no surprise for many, as the new Mi3 comes with a dirt-cheap price tag of just ₹13,999 and features 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, Android KitKat OS, 2GB RAM and 16GB memory.
