After months of beta testing, Google officially announced Android P as Android 9.0 Pie and the public version is now rolling out to the proprietary Pixel series and the Essential Phone across the world.
Like the namesake pastry dough-based dish that comes with sweet and savoury ingredients, the company has incorporated several value-added features in Android Pie to offer a delightful experience for the phone users.
The dessert-flavoured mobile OS brings full-view screen friendly swipe-based navigation, refurbished setting drawer, adaptive battery and display, security and several more in the. Unlike before, Google is closely working with a number of OEMs including Oppo, Essential, OnePlus, Nokia, Sony and Xiaomi to bring the new Android Pie OS to the respective devices.
If the previous release pattern is taken as any indication, the mobile update will be released to the most recently launched phones and later to older phones. We have listed all the models, which are eligible to get the Android Pie including those who are most likely to get it over time. We will be updating this table as and when we get new details from the smartphone companies.
Until then, check it out if your latest device will get Android Pie OS update or not.
