Motorola has been prompt in releasing software updates to its eligible handsets, and it hasn't disappointed its fans with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. After seeding the new firmware to Moto G4 Plus and Moto Z devices, the Lenovo-owned company is planning to roll it out to Moto M.
Motorola first released Android 7.0 Nougat update to Moto Z, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Droid Force before seeding it to Moto G4 Plus via OTA (over-the-air).

Now, the smartphone manufacturer has revealed that Google's latest operating system will come to Moto M soon though it didn't reveal the exact date. The device currently runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The phone is out there, and the nougat update will be out soon.

Motorola has confirmed that Android 7.0 Nougat update will come to Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto G Play (4th Gen), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Force, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Play Droid, and Nexus 6.
However, some of the popular devices like Moto X (2nd Gen), Moto X (3rd Gen), Moto G3, Moto E3 and Moto E3 Power are not in the list.
