LG has released Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to a few devices after it was introduced in its flagship device, the G5. Now T-Mobile is all set to release the firmware to its variant of LG V10.
T-Mobile product manager Des Smith has announced the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update schedule of the LG V10. He revealed on Twitter that the device will receive Google's latest operating system next week.
Smith didn't reveal the exact date but it is apparent that the firmware update for T-Mobile variant of LG V10 can happen anytime starting Monday.
The South Korean electronics giant has rolled out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to some of its devices, the LG G3, LG G4 and LG V10. The company is yet to announce the firmware update schedule for its two other eligible handsets — LG G Stylo and LG G Flex2 — but it should happen before the announcement of Google's next operating system called Android N.
The international unlocked variant of the LG V10 received the firmware update last month. Verizon Wireless was the first among the carriers in the U.S. to bring Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the device.
