HTC One M9 and One M8 owners looking for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA (over-the-air) update won't have to wait for long: The firmware is set to release to the devices over the next few days.
HTC's product management chief Mo Versi has confirmed on Twitter Google's latest firmware will be rolled out to Sasktel, Rogers, Wind and Videotron variants of HTC One M9 in South America on Monday, 18 January. He also confirmed that the T-Mobile variant of HTC One M8 will receive the firmware on 25 January.

Versi also said while answering to a query that the Sprint variant of HTC One M8 in Hong Kong will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update some time next week.

However, there is no word on when the AT&T and Verizon variants of the devices will receive the firmware.
It may be mentioned that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update was pushed to One M8 in the US and Asia a few days ago.
HTC had earlier announced that the software would be pushed out to its devices like the One A9, One M9+, E9+, E9, ME, E8, One M8 Eye, Butterfly 3, Desire 826, Desire 820 and Desire 816.
