HTC appears to be working on Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its mid-range devices having already seeded the firmware to some of its flagship handsets. It has now emerged that HTC One (E8), HTC One (M8 Eye) and HTC Desire Eye have received the operating system.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has been rolled out to One (M8 Eye) in China and Europe, according to HTCSource (via Phandroid). It went on to say that the firmware has been currently pushed out to HTC Desire Eye devices in Europe, and Chinese models of HTC One (E8). The firmware is expected to be seeded to the One E8 devices in other markets by the end of this month.

It was reported earlier that HTC Desire EYE devices in Europe and the UAE have received Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update with Sense 7.0. Phone Arena reported that one of its readers had sent a screenshot of the firmware being updated on HTC Desire EYE.
HTC has already rolled out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to some of its popular handsets like the One M8 Dual SIM, One A9 and One M9, and the latest to join the list are the One (E8), One (M8 Eye) and Desire Eye.
However, it is not known when devices HTC M9+, HTC One E9, HTC ME, HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 816, which are in the eligible list, will taste Marshmallow.
