Early this week, Samsung released Android 5.0 Lollipop to Galaxy S5 Verizon model in USA. And now the candy-flavoured Google mobile OS has been released to Exynos chipset model in select regions of Central Asia.
Samsung community website SamMobile has confirmed that Exynos 5 SoC (System on Chip) based Galaxy S5 (SM-G900H) model in Kazakhstan is receiving the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS OTA (Over-The-Air) update.
Google's new mobile OS comes with a completely refurbished design language – 'material design' - bringing interactive user interface, lots of animation graphics, replacement of Dalvik with ART as its default runtime will bring improvement in performance and battery-life enhancements.

How to install Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update on the phone:
If Galaxy S5 (SM- G900H) owners are getting the update notifications, then select - "Yes, I'm in" option >> then, after downloading, select >> "Install now." The phone will restart automatically and the OS will be updated to the new version.
If users are yet to get the update notification, they can check manually by going to:
Settings >> About phone >> System update.

Since December 2014, Samsung had been releasing Lollipop update in phases across Europe, America and East Asia to Snapdragon 801 series based Galaxy S5. This is first time the company has finally shown interest in deploying updates to the 3G variant.
So if history is taken as any indicator, it's just a matter of time, probably by this month end, Indian owners can experience the sweet taste of Lollipop on their Galaxy S5 3G.
